Prince of Peace Home Care Services LLC (PPHS) can provide two different overnight care options that will help the client remain as independent as possible for as long as possible, while being assisted by a caregiver twenty-four hours a day.
This type of care is very helpful for clients who need extra support such as palliative care or have a long-term condition.
Live-In Care
This type of care typically involves two caregivers splitting a seven-day work week. By law, live-in caregivers must be able to sleep eight hours per night and have four hours of free time during the day. This type of care is suitable for clients who do not require assistance during the night, unless for an emergency.
24-Hour Care
Around the clock care typically involves two to five caregivers who work eight or twelve-hour shifts, have to be awake at all times, and provide supervision at all hours.
